Here’s a new song I wrote for today’s Lichfield Diocese Green Team study day:
Lead us, O Lord, from death to life,
Teach us to steward the world you have made.
Give us the will to speak and act
only and always in Jesus’ name.
In the valley of bones,
Father almighty, hear our prayer.
Give us the words to speak;
Reconcile us to you through Christ.
All creation is scarred.
Father almighty, hear our prayer.
Gather all things to you;
Reconcile us to you through Christ.
We’re the Body of Christ.
Father almighty, hear our prayer.
Speak to our open hearts;
Reconcile us to you through Christ.
In the shadow of death,
Father almighty, hear our prayer.
Bring us to life again!
Reconcile us to you through Christ.
