I’m Andrew Clayton, a husband and father who also “does” a lot of music. I’ve been playing the piano since age 5, singing and tapping out rhythms, playing imaginary scales up and down the dinner table between mouthfuls, and generally letting the music find its own way.
I write poor quality poetry, I preach wherever I’m welcome, and generally try to keep everything balanced. I also brew mead in the corner of my dining room, where it bubbles away happily.
I play piano in an improv blues band, accompany a local children’s orchestra, and play in church from time to time. I’m getting around to recording some Christmas carols I wrote over the last few years.
This blog is much more about my professional life. I have another (see link in menu above) which is personal and covers other aspects of my varied interests.
