it's an education
A regular source of income through notejuste is private tuition. Generally I teach piano, although I cover music theory as a matter of course in the lessons. I have a few young pupils who are just beginning their journey as musicians, and I teach adults who want to brush up their playing, investigate new styles of playing, or are particularly interested in playing contemporary-style music in church.

My rates are reasonable, but I wouldn't teach just for for the money. I enjoy being able to see the progress that my students make. I may not be a concert pianist, but I'm experienced as a musician and enthusiastic about what I teach. I can provide references for both these aspects if needed.
